Camino de Santiago (June 28-July 12, 2023)
Cost: Approx. $3500.00 (does not include airfare). Cost includes lodging at modest 3+ hotels, breakfast/dinner and most lunches. Price also includes all entrance fees and ground transfers. Plan to bring extra money for snacks and souvenirs.

We will see the entire Camino and have the option to walk the last 100K to receive a Compostela certificate. The program includes pre-reading and preparation activities for the Camino. All levels may walk portions of the Camino and we will take a slow easy pace. You will learn about the culture, history, art, and food along the Camino Francés as you walk portions of one of the most important Christian pilgrimage routes in the world.

June 27: Depart US
June 28: Arrive Madrid
June 29: Visit Prado Museum and Reina Sofia Museum
June 30: Pamplona and visit Cathedral and Pilgrims office
July 1: Bus to St. Jean Pied de Port and Roncesvalles
July 2: Bus to Santo Domingo and Burgos and site visits
July 3: Bus to Leon and Astorga and site visits
July 4: Walk to Cruz de Ferro and leave a stone at the cross, Molinaseca and Ponferrada
July 5: O Cebreiro for lunch and Samos Benedictine Monastery
July 6: Sarria (100K mark)-Portomarin
July 7: Portomarin-Palais de Rei
July 8: Palais de Rei-Melide (enjoy grilled octopi)
July 9: Melide-O Pedrouzo
July 10: Santiago (Cathedral and museums)
July 11: Finisterre and Muxia (final day in Santiago)
July 12: Santiago (Depart for US)
