Meet Eyerusalem!

I just returned from my trip late Thursday night after being in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland. Almost daily during my trip, I was reminded of the great kindness and generosity that made this trip possible for me. I was often overcome with emotion thinking of the way God has provided me throughout my life and this was one of them. When I first began the trip I was told it would be life-changing, I was unsure if it would, considering that my life has been full of big life changes and I wasn't sure if the trip would be more than just learning about business and political systems which I thought were worthy causes to study abroad for. I did indeed learn about businesses and what makes them successful as well as learned about different types of governments.  But, my life and how I view the world has also changed, I believe for the better. During this trip I had the privilege and opportunity to meet with members of the Danish and Swedish parliament, meet with members of the U.S embassy both in Denmark and Finland, and meet with members of the ministry of defense of Sweden as well as Finland. I also had the opportunity to visit multi-million dollar companies and meet with their CEOs and learn how they incorporate their faith with business. I also had the blessing to be able to visit and attend churches and worship with their congregation. One of my favorite churches was in Oslo. The hospitality and love they showed us was so beautiful and Christ-like. They had a large Ethiopian/Eritrean refugee population and the individuals recognized I was from Ethiopia and invited all of us for Ethiopian food and coffee at their friends' restaurant. While we were in Norway we also visited Stavanger, one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. God's goodness was so abundant. Thank you so much for allowing me to experience the Nordic Countries. I can't thank you enough!!
